Welcome to your new home away from home on the Texas coast

Relax and enjoy a home base for fishing and water activities on the serene St. Charles Bay. With quiet views of the Bay and spectacular sunrise and sunset vistas, Lamar is one of Rockport’s best-kept secrets. Our RV park is walking distance from a boat launch and includes access to a 500-foot private fishing pier and a Texas-sized swimming pool. St. Charles Bay RV Park has been in business more than forty years. New ownership brings sixty years of family-owned business experience in Rockport. We want to help make your time on the coast wonderful, whether you’re here for a weekend, a season, or many years.

Access our 500-foot lighted private pier for fishing and bay views. Green lights for night fishing and water for the cleaning station.

While not exactly the size of the entire state of Texas, our pool nearly qualified for its own state representative. Enjoy the newly constructed deck and the resurfaced pool with a deep end.

Want to get away?

If you got any further away from your troubles, you would literally be swimming the Gulf of Mexico. Which you can easily do at St. Charles Bay. There is also a boat launch and Goose Island State park for those rare days when jumping into the water isn’t the answer.

Rockport and Fulton offer the best of the Texas Coast at your fingertips. Lamar is close enough to be there when you want to.

St. Charles Bay RV Park exceeded all our expectations. The pristine swimming pool offered a fantastic way to relax and cool down, and the well-maintained laundry facilities were a convenient amenity. We spent memorable hours fishing on the pier, enjoying the stunning views of the Texas coast. The park’s friendly community, combined with its proximity to delectable restaurants and thrilling coastal adventures on Padre Island, made our stay absolutely perfect.

This park is clean, quiet, and just outside of town near a boat launch on the Bay. I love the pier! I love to watch the waves come in off the Gulf. This is how good I imagined retirement would be.

I just wanted to reach out and say thank you for such an awesome weekend! We parked our travel trailer at your park last weekend, and it was absolutely lovely! The pool looks like it was just redone, and a new deck no less! It was quiet, and perfect for our little family to relax, take in the sea air, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. When we forgot our detergent, we are so grateful for you for lending us enough to wash our beach towels and trunks. We cannot wait to visit Rockport and your park again.

Our stay at St. Charles Bay RV Park was truly excellent! From the very start, contacting Trevor for our reservation was incredibly easy, and the entire transaction process was seamless. He made planning our trip a breeze. Upon arrival, we were met by Debbie, the park manager, who is genuinely very nice and welcoming. Her friendly demeanor and helpfulness really contributed to a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The park itself is fantastic, offering a serene base for exploring the beautiful St. Charles Bay area. Highly recommend St. Charles Bay RV Park for a hassle-free and friendly RV getaway!

Definitely going back. Affordable rates, nicely managed and owner was very kind to me and my family. We have 2 kids both under 3yo and we felt very safe. The girls enjoyed the pool so much. Clean restrooms and shower. We were able to do our own laundry w no hassle as well. Boat launch was a plus and our favorite was the pier. They recommended to visit the Padre Island but we ran out of time so def going back.
